WESTWARD HO!

I almost forgot...one cool thing about having to put Sophia into dock? ROAD TRIP!!! I think Mom was sad about leaving our home at sea, but Captain Dad let go of the ship's wheel and confidently steered our Toyota on a cross country adventure to California -- with lots of fun stops along the way. Here we are at the Caverns of Sonora Texas. And as sure as dog is our copilot, it was a real trip.

BY LAND, SEA AND NOW AIR?

The Captain and Crew of Sophia came to a decision today...With old Sophia needing some serious help in the engine room, and we being adventurers intent on seeing the world, we've decided to jump ship and take to the air. As you can see by the length of Captain Dad's hair and Mom's tan, we've been at sea for some time, but as soon as our passports come, we'll be flying off to Costa Rica where our family adventure will continue. I just hope I don't have to wear a shirt like some landlubber -- ARRR!

SHORE LEAVE!

Don't get me wrong, I love being on the open water with my Captain and crew as much as any sailor, but when we drop anchor, it sure is fun to get some shore leave with adventurers closer to my own age.

THE MORNING COMMUTE

Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.

BON VOYAGE!

Remember how I said I loved the ocean?

Well, Dad and I hatched a plan.

Hint? It involves moving to a new home.

Mom gets to drive more than a boring minivan. Looks like she'll need better deck shoes, though.

Dad is setting us on a course for a grand adventure. He said something about Costa Rica. Is that a neighborhood in my hometown of New Orleans?

Are we excited? You bet. I just hope we can get our sea legs soon.
Daddy...are we there, yet?

VaCaTiOn TiMe!

Life's a Beach... so, here I am taking a break at the lake with Mom while the boys hunt.

Wait, the boys are hunting? I'M a boy...

AND here I am hunting with the boys, aka Dad.

I'm sure glad I took my folks on this family vacation!

Hallowing Halloween...

I don't remember last Halloween. That's me in the orange and black ensemble with the contrasting white, human skeletal system. This year? Well, let's just say Halloween can be a bit scary -- but FUN!

Party On Dudes!

"My birthday party was a blast. Since it was my first one I don't have much to compare it to, but dad and mom sure wore themselves out making me happy."

Puttin' life into HARPER DRIVE!

"I'm one year old today and there's no looking back. I've got a firm grip on the wheel of life and fifty cents in this hot, red machine. So strap in this weird dude sitting next to me and let's get this show on the road!"

Lawnboy

"My friend Kristen provided me with this awesome lawnmower, so I went right to work on the yard. I'm told it even has bubbles. Until I'm out of diapers I can provide my own fertilizer."

Cat Nap

"A busy guy like me needs to catch a few winks whenever I can. Often it's just a quick cat nap. Sometimes it's on any available table top with my eyes still open."

Ahoy Mates!

"As you can see, I'm having boatloads of fun on the water this summer. I'm impressed that mom and dad have a yacht already -- AND let me sail it? Sahweet!  But my personal watercraft of choice has to be the jet ski. That thing is a blast and a half! In fact, I haven't experienced anything that wet and wild since being in my mom's belly at aerobics class. I just hope I don't get a weird tan line from my diaper."

Life's a Beach

"It's my first summer and things are going swimmingly here in the pool with Gramma and Grampa Berry. Not having to wear a diaper is a plus, too."

A Day in the Life

"Knick-knack paddywhack, give your dog a...hey, what is this thing? A dinosaur bone?"

Say Cheese

"I can't say cheese yet, but I'll give you a big smile. How's this?"
